Dr. Colton is passionate about optimizing movement and mobility throughout the lifespan. As a combat athlete himself, Dr. Colton understands the demands that athletes and weekend warriors alike put on their bodies and has used his experiences to develop specialized techniques for treating related neck and shoulder injuries.  Prior to joining 212, Colton worked in outpatient orthopedics as part of the Sports Medicine team for local high schools. Dr. Colton is certified in dry needling and spinal manipulation and has advanced training in vestibular treatments for dizziness and vertigo.

While earning his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Dayton in 2016, Dr. Colton had the honor of assisting in teaching manual physical therapy techniques abroad to medical students in China as well as presenting his research on diagnostic imaging applications in physical therapy at the American Physical Therapy Association’s national conference.  However, some might say the highlight of his time at UD was meeting his wife, Dr. Schulte. In his free time, Dr. Colton practices Jiu Jitsu, enjoys weightlifting and cycling, plays copious amount of fetch with his dog Loki, and moonlights as a professional photographer.
